Swim with Sea Turtles in Cancún

What you'll see

The second stop is the one guests remember. We anchor where the turtles feed and you get into the water alongside them — no cage, no tank, just a mask and fins.

They are wild animals, so we go looking rather than promising. In practice we find them almost every single time, and our post-tour surveys run at 98% satisfaction. Our crew knows where they feed and how to approach without disturbing them, which is also why we ask everyone to use biodegradable sunscreen.

How to visit

This spot is one of the four stops on our 2-hour Salty Snorkel trip. There is no separate ticket — you visit all four on one outing.

Questions about this stop

Are sightings guaranteed?

No — they're wild animals and we won't promise what we can't control. We go looking on every departure and find them almost every single time.

Can I touch the turtles?

No. National Park rules prohibit touching marine life. You swim alongside them and keep your distance — your guide will show you how.
